MillerKnoll operates a complex data environment that serves a performance-driven business. Success involves building trust through a quality of service that’s as reliable as the products it manufactures.

However, data is acquired from over 25 separate MillerKnoll companies and sub-brands, which use 18 different ERP systems across multiple continents, currencies, languages, and legacy IBM-based systems.

APPROACH

Identifying a powerful, long-term solution

MillerKnoll’s previous SaaS data platform already used Qlik Talend data solutions, so when the business decided to bring the process in house, it knew where to look. The first project was to implement a Qlik-based project to modernize MillerKnoll’s fulfilment platform, involving three main ERP systems, 30 data control tables, and 16 different APIs.

The project involved MillerKnoll’s entire data infrastructure, merging all its North American order fulfilment and transportation planning. With Qlik Talend data solutions, it was delivered in less than six weeks.
