Your tenant administrator selects(ed) the Qlik region within which your tenant resides, not Qlik. If you are unsure about your organization’s tenant location, Administrators can navigate to MyQlik and see your available tenants. Each tenant will have a flag corresponding to the country location. Additionally, all users can look at the URL of your tenant and the two-letter designation to the left of “.qlikcloud,” which indicates which Qlik region you are in (e.g. “IN” corresponds to India). The codes are listed on the Configuring your tenant page.

Yes, we host your data only in the region you select. Note that (i) your data will also reside in the corresponding back-up location (e.g., if Ireland is chosen, the back-up location is Spain) where applicable, and (ii) if you use Qlik Anonymous Access to host publicly available applications, these are hosted on our Swedish region, regardless of the primary tenant location you select.

Qlik Cloud regions feature triple availability zone redundancy with continuous replication. Where AWS region availability, national data residency and compliance regulations permit, Qlik maintains additional recovery capabilities to another region.

Qlik is working to ensure that all commercial regions have all features, however some are only available today in certain regions today.
