Instructor-Led Training consists of live training sessions delivered by an experienced instructor on scheduled dates.

Classes are interactive and include hands-on exercises, real-time explanations, and the opportunity to ask questions.

What is the Qlik Instructor-Led Training Subscription?

Qlik Instructor-Led Training Subscription (also known as Passport) is a training subscription that provides access to scheduled Instructor-Led Training sessions and exclusive Learning Experiences for 12 months.

What is included in the Qlik Instructor-Led Training Subscription?

Qlik Instructor-Led Training Subscription includes:

  • Access to public Instructor-Led Training sessions.

  • Access to exclusive Learning Experiences.

  • Access to our instructors to request Learning Experiences that support your learning journey.

How long is the Qlik Instructor-Led Training Subscription valid?

Qlik Instructor-Led Training Subscriptions are valid for 12 months from the purchase date.

Can Qlik Instructor-Led Training Subscription access be shared?

The subscription is assigned to one named individual and cannot be shared during the active subscription period.


At the time of renewal, the subscription may be reassigned to a different participant.

How do I register for a course with Qlik Instructor-Led Training Subscription?

Log in to the Qlik Training Purchase Portal and select the course session you would like to attend.

If you have an active Passport subscription, your registration will be covered.

Our courses are delivered live via Zoom.

We recommend the following:

  • Two screens (one to follow the instructor and one for hands-on practice)

  • A headset with a microphone

Do I receive a certificate?

Yes.

Do you offer private training sessions?

Yes.

Private Instructor-Led Training sessions are available for organizations that prefer dedicated training for their teams.


Sessions can be customized based on your business needs and scheduled at convenient dates.

There are two available subscriptions:

Is there any free training available?

How do I get started with Qlik Learning?

You can get started in several ways:

  • Enroll in one of our live webinars to get started with Qlik Learning. Go to the Course Sessions tab to see upcoming sessions.

How long do I have access to Qlik Learning?

Qlik Learning Subscriptions purchased through the Qlik Training Purchase Portal have a 12-month duration.


If you would like to purchase a multi-year subscription, please contact your Qlik representative.

Do Self-Paced courses include a certificate?

No.

Is instructor support included?

No.

Can I download the course materials?

Course materials are available within Qlik Learning.

Qlik Certifications

What is a Qlik Certification?

Qlik Certifications are expert-level exams and are designed for those with expertise in Qlik and Qlik Talend products.

Qlik Talend Data Integration and Qlik Data Analytics product certifications are delivered in a proctored environment in Qlik Learning.

How do I register for a certification exam?

You do not need to schedule your exam for a certain date and time, as exams are available on demand. Visit the Qlik Talend Data Integration and Qlik Data Analytics Certification exams catalogs.


When you are ready to purchase your exam, click the Purchase Now button within the exam description. You'll be directed to the Qlik Booking site to purchase your certification exam. All major credit/debit cards are accepted.


Once payment is complete, you will receive an email notification to confirm your booking. Access to your chosen exam will be available within 24 business hours. You will receive a second notification email to confirm that your exam is now available. This email will include details about how to prepare for and launch your exam.


Simply log in to the Qlik Learning platform, and your chosen exam will be shown under the My Recommendations section on your homepage.


If you do not have a Qlik Learning account, please contact your organization’s Qlik Administrator, or open a customer-support case for assistance via the Qlik Support Hub or use our support chat service.


Please take a moment to watch the Getting Started with Qlik Certification exams video in Qlik Learning. The video explains the registration process and contains essential information about preparing for and taking your exam.

Are certifications included in training subscriptions or courses?

No. Certifications must be purchased separately.

Can I retake the exam if I fail?

Yes, if you do not pass an exam, you may retake it.


You are allowed three attempts per exam. Full payment or a new voucher (if applicable) is required for each exam attempt.


If you do not achieve a passing score on your first attempt, you must allow 48 hours before retaking the exam. If you fail the exam on your second attempt, you must wait 14 calendar days from the previous test date before retaking the exam for the third and final attempt. After the third failed attempt, you will be blocked from registering for the attempted exam or until a new exam is released.


All waiting periods are enforced; you will not be allowed to book the exam for a date before the waiting period is satisfied.

Purchase & Payment

Why are prices displayed in USD?

Prices may initially be displayed in USD.


To view pricing in your local currency and region, please log in to the Qlik Training Purchase Portal.

Once logged in, the system will automatically display the pricing applicable to your country.

How do I purchase on the Qlik Training Purchase Portal?
  1. Go to the Qlik Training Purchase Portal.

  2. Select your preferred course session, subscription, or certification, then click the Add to Cart button.

  3. Enter your company’s billing information and click Update Billing Address.

  4. Choose your preferred payment method.

  5. Enter a promo code, if applicable.

  6. Click Proceed to Checkout.

  7. If you selected Purchase Order (PO), enter your PO number. If your company does not use a PO, enter N/A. Then click Continue Order.

  8. If you selected a Training Card, enter your Training Card number and PIN, then click Continue Order. The balance will be applied automatically.

  9. Complete the process by clicking Done.

  10. You will receive a confirmation email once your purchase is complete.

How can I check my registration status?

Log in to the Qlik Training Purchase Portal using your Qlik account.

On the Home page, you can:

  • Check your registration status

  • View your learning history

Can I cancel or reschedule a course?

Our cancellation and rescheduling policy is available in the Product Terms under Education Services Terms.

Please review the policy before requesting changes.

When will I receive joining instructions for the course?

You will receive course access details and joining instructions by email one day before the session starts.

If you do not receive them, please check your spam folder.

What happens if I miss an ILT session?

If you do not attend a scheduled course, the session is considered used.

Please review the cancellation policy for details.

Can I transfer my seat to someone else?

Seats may be transferred before the course start date. Contact Instructor.Training@qlik.com.

Do you offer discounts?

Individual discounts are not available.

If you are planning multiple training purchases, please consider a Training Card or contact your Qlik representative for enterprise options.

Can I pay by credit card?

Credit card payments are supported only in the United States and Canada. If you are located outside this region, please select Purchase Order (PO) or a Training Card as your payment method.


Please note that for certifications, the only available payment method is by credit card. Additionally, certification prices are displayed in USD and payments are processed in this currency.

What is a Training Card?

A Training Card is a prepaid credit (similar to a gift card) that can be used to purchase most Qlik training products* on the Qlik Training purchase platform.

  • Valid for 12 months from the purchase date

  • Can be used for public courses and eligible learning subscriptions

  • Does not require scheduling training at the time of purchase


*Training Cards cannot be used for Certifications.


*Training Cards cannot be used in a country different from the country of purchase.

What if my company does not use Purchase Orders?

You may enter N/A in the PO field and proceed.


An invoice will be issued using the billing details provided during checkout.

Do I need a Purchase Order before starting the purchase process?


The PO number must be entered during checkout to ensure proper invoicing.

My company requires an order form to issue a PO. Can you provide one?

Qlik does not issue separate order forms for individual training purchases.


To support your internal PO request, you may use the course page or a screenshot of the checkout summary, which includes pricing and course details.

How do I make the payment once I receive the invoice?

Payment instructions, including bank transfer details and payment terms, are provided on the invoice.

Can I change the billing details after checkout?

No, billing information must be correct at the time of purchase.

When should I purchase a Training Card?
  • Your organization plans multiple training purchases over time

  • You prefer prepaid credit instead of issuing multiple POs

  • You want flexibility across different courses


Important:

  • Minimum purchase amount: $20,000

  • Must be requested through the Sales team


If you are purchasing a single course, we recommend selecting Purchase Order (PO) during checkout.

How can I check my Training Card balance?

Log in to https://buy-learning.qlik.com/ and select the Vouchers button next to your name.

Your balance is listed in the pop-up table.

Troubleshooting

I cannot complete my registration. What should I check first?

Please verify:

  • Billing information is complete

  • You selected a payment method

  • If using PO, N/A is entered if no number is required

  • You are not attempting to pay by credit card outside the EEUU and Canada


If the issue persists, contact Instructor.Training@qlik.com and include:

  • Screenshot of the error

  • Course name

  • Session date

I did not receive my confirmation email. What should I do?
  • Check your spam or junk folder.

  • Confirm that the email address entered during checkout is correct.

  • If still not received, contact Instructor.Training@qlik.com.

My registration is pending. What does this mean?
