CHALLENGE

Harnessing data to meet customer expectations

For decades, bonprix has delivered catwalk-inspired fashion at affordable prices to millions of customers across Europe. From critical logistics processes to a large-scale customer service department, bonprix runs a broad and complex operation where meeting customer expectations is essential to success.

“We have a lot of moving parts,” explains Tony Wilson, Expert Data Developer at bonprix. “We needed to find a way to make more data-driven decisions.”

APPROACH

Track, monitor, and analyze: bonprix does data differently

Qlik allows bonprix to do data differently. The business can now track, monitor, and analyze data from every corner of the organization.

“We have lots of different collections, and analytics helps us to choose which products to continue, which products to stop, and which products to reorder,” says Wilson. “Qlik allows us to look at all the data in the same place.”

bonprix’s customer service department, for example, can now identify which agents are performing well, where it needs more capacity, and how the business is tracking compared to forecasts.

RESULTS

Better decisions drive business goals

Having the right data at the right time helps bonprix make operational decisions quickly and react immediately. bonprix’s web shop, for example, can now run at five-minute-interval loads to monitor the performance of promotions and assess how they affect web traffic.

“Different audiences have different data needs,” Wilson adds. “With Qlik, we can have highly aggregated KPIs and also drill deep on a transaction-by-transaction basis. All these things help us make better decisions about where we build our customer base and reach our goals.”

WHAT THIS MEANS FOR YOU

bonprix does data differently

From logistics to customer service to finance, Qlik gives bonprix a central data hub that helps everyone across the organization, from c-level executives and VPs to cost center owners. It’s a critical component of a business that increasingly relies on data, and easy access to it, as it continues to work on its mission to deliver affordable, trend-driven designs.

“Qlik allows us to do data differently,” Wilson concludes. “No other tool can really do that the way Qlik can.”
