CHALLENGE

Siloed teams with limited access to data

Antalis is the leading B2B distributor of paper, packaging solutions and visual communication products in Europe and Latin America, with 4,000 employees in more than 30 countries, serving more than 100,000 customers.

Antalis was a longstanding QlikView customer, and recently decided to modernize its solution to be more responsive to business demands. “Users could only access the applications specific to their region. We had to find a less siloed approach to allow for a more collaborative and inclusive model,” explains Fabien Préhel, Director of CRM, Marketing Solutions & Data Analytics for the Antalis group.

APPROACH

Retain flexibility and enhance collaboration

Qlik Cloud® Analytics was the chosen solution thanks to its powerful associative engine, processing speed and self-service BI capacities. “With our new hybrid SaaS and on-premises Qlik Sense infrastructure, we retain the flexibility of regional development while also allowing all users access to a single hub where all applications are available.” explains Fabien Préhel.

The group has also strengthened the analysis of its e-commerce business, supported by 30 websites worldwide. Several dedicated applications enable precise analysis of the KPIs, from ERP transactional data to web data which can be used to optimize traffic generation and the conversion of visitors to new customers.

RESULTS

Exploiting the benefits of the cloud

More than 200 Qlik applications have been migrated to the cloud for 1,250 users (soon to be 2,500 users).

Qlik Cloud Analytics enhances user autonomy and collaboration, offers a consolidated view across countries, and enables sophisticated analysis of ecommerce activities.

The power and simplicity of the cloud are what appeal from a technical perspective: “We no longer need to worry about adjusting the performance of our servers,” says Fabien Préhel.

WHAT THIS MEANS FOR YOU

Be more reactive thanks to your data

With the simplicity of Qlik Cloud, you can deploy self-service BI and empower your business users. IT can focus on delivering qualitative, reliable data, while the business units develop or adapt the dashboards to their needs.
