Brian Hamel

Chief Revenue Officer

Brian is Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) of Qlik, responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive sales strategy, in close collaboration with our partner ecosystem, to bring value to customers. Brian is a dynamic technology sales executive with strengths in building, scaling, and leading global sales organizations and driving hyper-growth cloud enterprise software (SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS) businesses.

Brian started his career at IBM as an enterprise account manager. Over a 30-year career, he has held leadership positions in the U.S., Asia, and Europe. Most recently, Brian was Executive Vice President (EVP) and Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) of Worldwide Sales and Marketing at Veritas. Previously, he spent five years at Oracle as Senior Vice President, Cloud Business Group where he was responsible for three global lines of business: Cloud Infrastructure, Channel and Alliance Strategy, and Cloud Native/Linux, and one year as Vice President and General Manager at Lenovo.

Brian holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree from the University of West Georgia in Carrollton.
