CUSTOMER STORY // UNIVERSIDAD NACIONAL DEL SUR (UNS)
Combining Research and Educational Data
Qlik Academic Program bridges the digital gap between students and the labor market.

Empowering
students
The Qlik Academic Program benefits students by better preparing them for the demands of the job market.
Simplifying
complex scenarios
Qlik’s smart tools transform complex data into smart, compelling, and meaningful visualizations.
Improving
simulation capacities
Qlik has played a key role in enhancing the UNS digital twins project, which was essential for researchers.
CHALLENGE
Production environment simulations
UNS needed a tool capable of transforming complex digital twin simulation data in a production environment into clear and interactive information to enable decision-making in both research and academic teaching environments.

APPROACH
Research and academic teaching
Through the Qlik Academic Program, researchers and lecturers at UNS use Qlik Sense to interpret complex data from different sources. It creates specialist dashboards that improve data interpretation and facilitate decision-making. Using digital twin simulation, lecturers have also been able to integrate the tool into their course modules.

RESULTS
Visibility and conceptualization
The Qlik Academic Program allowed UNS to implement Qlik Sense, providing a versatile tool that enhances the understanding of data in simulation environments, integrates various data sources, and improves decision-making based on real-world input. Qlik Sense has since become a key part of the university’s academic curriculum.

WHAT THIS MEANS FOR YOU
Reducing the technological gap
The Qlik Academic Program supports advanced research in Latin America, applying technologies such as digital twins to improve the resilience of production systems. In addition to promoting scientific progress, it also boosts education and prepares future professionals with key skills for the labor market.

The Qlik Academic Program allows us to introduce students to a high-quality tool, preparing them for the world of work and reducing the digital gap in education.
