Philadelphia, PA — Qlik®, a global leader in data integration, data quality, analytics, and artificial intelligence (AI), today announced the availability of the Qlik Cloud® platform on the AWS Europe (Paris) Region. This expansion enables French enterprises and public-sector organizations to deploy advanced data, analytics, and AI workloads locally, supporting compliance with the European Union’s GDPR and other data localization rules, while improving operational resilience and reducing latency. The timing supports customers complying with the EU’s AI Act; customers can leverage Qlik Cloud to improve the quality of their data, empowering their AI strategy and assisting with accuracy requirements.
“France is a pivotal player in shaping Europe’s digital landscape around data sovereignty and responsible AI deployment,” said Mike Capone, CEO of Qlik. “By making our solutions available on the AWS Europe (Paris) Region in France, we are giving customers a local deployment choice to process data in-country while supporting their governance and security priorities.”
Qlik’s France cloud deployment on the AWS Europe (Paris) Region will offer in-country data processing and analytics that align with the evolving European regulatory environment.
In healthcare, Qlik plans to pursue HDS certification in 2026. HDS is the French legal framework for hosting personal health data, and will complement Qlik’s existing certifications, such as ISO 27001 and ISO 27018 (protection of personal data in the cloud). This roadmap will help hospitals and health innovators run analytics and AI on sensitive data in-country with added assurance.
Key advantages include:
Local execution of data and AI workloads, helping customers meet GDPR and data localization requirements.
Running on the AWS Europe (Paris) Region, helping reduce latency and support data-residency objectives while maintaining customer control.
A 2026 HDS certification roadmap for health-data workloads, supporting providers that must rely on certified hosting for patient data under French law.
Strengthened resilience and operational control for sensitive and mission-critical workloads across sectors such as healthcare, public administration, and manufacturing.
“Radiall recognizes Qlik’s investment in local infrastructure as essential for executing an AI strategy responsibly and effectively,” said Henri Rufin, Head of Data & Analytics, Radiall. “Having Qlik available on the dedicated AWS cloud region in France will give us the confidence we need to scale our operations, comply with stringent regulatory requirements, and deliver innovative solutions to our customers.”
“French enterprises and public-sector entities are facing increasing pressure to operate their analytics and AI applications within strict regulatory boundaries, without compromising on performance,” said Jacques Padioleau, Regional Vice President, EMEA South, Qlik. “Our France cloud deployment on the AWS Europe (Paris) Region offers customers infrastructure choices that respect European values around transparency, compliance, and autonomy. France is critical to our European growth strategy, and we’re proud to deepen our commitment here.”
Qlik’s Analytics, Data Integration, and AI capabilities will be available starting November 25, 2025, with broader Qlik Talend Cloud capabilities rolling out in phases by Q2 2026; for workload- and edition-specific details, please contact your Qlik representative.
