• Qlik Sense SaaS endorsements validate knowledge and skills in the SaaS specific features and functionality of Qlik Sense. Designed to complement Qlik Sense product certifications, Qlik Sense SaaS endorsements are additional assessments that are offered online via the Qlik Continuous Classroom. Qlik Sense SaaS endorsements are available for the roles of business analyst, data architect, and Qlik Sense SaaS administrator.

The Qlik Certification Program is open to all users who would like to evaluate their expertise with Qlik products.

The exams are all multiple-choice questions. If more than one response is required, the question will tell you exactly how many responses are required. Some questions will include an exhibit which should be used to answer the question.

All exams are delivered by Pearson VUE. They may be taken at a Pearson VUE Test Center or in your home/office using OnVUE online proctoring.

The exams cost $250 USD each, paid for by credit card when you register through the Pearson VUE website. The amount will be converted into your local currency by your bank, because Qlik does not price the exams in multiple currencies.

Qlik Certification Exams are available in US English ONLY.

If you live in a non-native English speaking country, you will automatically be granted an additional 30 minutes to your exam time. We have aligned our processes according to industry standards and best practices. Please schedule your exam on the Pearson VUE website per the standard web registration process on or after July 18, 2020.

The cost for the Qlik Sense SaaS Endorsements is included in the Qlik Sense certification fee. There is no additional cost to take the endorsement assessment.

No. Endorsements are voluntary and do not impact your Qlik Sense certification in any way.

Yes. Those who earn a Qlik Sense SaaS endorsement will receive a digital badge via Credly. This badge is separate from any Qlik Sense certification badge you may receive.

Qlik Sense Endorsements consist of 15-20 multiple choice items delivered on the Qlik Learning Portal. Candidates have 45 minutes to complete the assessment.

No, but training is highly recommended. Qlik training is one of the first and most important steps for preparing for your certification exam. Refer to the Certifications & Qualifications web page for the complete list of Recommended Preparation Resources.

Yes, hands-on, practical experience in an enterprise environment is highly recommended.
These are expert-level exams, and experience with the product is needed.

Exam scores are calculated by adding up the number of correct answers and determining if this is above or below the minimum passing score for the exam.

If a question requires multiple answers, you must select the exact number of correct answers specified in the question to earn credit for a correct answer. Partial credit is not given.

The passing scores are determined after conducting a statistical analysis with Subject Matter Experts and reviewing the results of the beta exam. Each exam has a different domain and the variability of the question difficulty results in different minimum passing scores.

You must schedule for your certification exam on the Pearson VUE website. You will be required to create an account on the site.

IMPORTANT - QLIK PARTNER PROGRAM REQUIREMENT: Your Pearson VUE account must contain the email address associated with your Qlik.com user ID, your full name, and company name. This will ensure your certifications are linked to the partner company, and counted toward the compliance requirements of the Qlik Partner Program.

Yes, but it MUST be within 48 hours of the exam. To reschedule or cancel your exam:

1. Go to the Pearson VUE website

2. Log in with your Pearson VUE account

3. Select “Reschedule a Test” or “Cancel a Test”

If you have an appointment and do not show up to take your exam, you will forfeit your exam fee. NO REFUNDS are given if you miss your exam appointment or fail to cancel in time.

No. Pearson VUE handles all of the exam scheduling. Please contact Pearson VUE if you need help to change your appointment.

Pearson VUE offers payment by credit card and vouchers. Pearson VUE accepts the following major credit cards: VISA, MasterCard, and American Express.

Certification exam vouchers may be purchased from Pearson VUE. Use Internet Explorer to complete the PDF form for your region and submit your order to Pearson VUE. You will receive your voucher via email after your payment is processed.

For an exam delivered at a test center, plan to arrive at least 15 minutes before your appointment. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, you are not guaranteed exam availability or a refund.

For online proctored exams, log in 15-30 minutes before your appointment. The proctor needs time to check you in, verify your photo ID, and make sure you have a completely clean workspace.

Bring two forms of ID. One ID must have your picture and signature (such as a passport or driver’s license); the other ID must have your signature (such as a credit card). Food, laptops, backpacks, notepads, pens, books, phones, pagers, watches and wallets, or other personal items are NOT allowed in the test area. Test centers provide secure storage space for your personal items while you are taking the exam.

At the test center, you will be provided an erasable note board and marker to use during your exam. For online proctored exams, use the Scratch Pad in the exam delivery software.

Qlik certification exams are 120 minutes. There will be a timer displayed on the top right side of the screen showing the remaining time. You will also be notified 15 minutes before the exam time ends.

After you complete your exam, your result will be shown immediately. You will also receive a score report to the email address you used to register for your exam.

24-48 hours after passing your Qlik product certification, you will receive an invitation email from Credly.com to claim your digital badge. Follow the instructions in the invitation email to establish you Credly account and start sharing your achievement.

BETA versions of certification exams are scored after 8 to 10 weeks. Your beta answers are scored using the operational form, which is typically half of the questions on the BETA exam. You will be notified by email when your exam is scored and passing candidates will receive their digital badge at that time.

Yes, if you do not pass an exam, you can re-take it as many times as you wish. Each re-take requires another payment of the exam fee at full charge. Beta exams are only available for a limited time and may not be re-taken.

All candidates can review their exam history and score reports by logging into Pearson VUE and utilizing the “My Account” menu.

Qlik is partnering with Credly to provide digital badges and certificates for our Qlik Product Certifications. 24-48 hours after you pass your exam, you will receive an email from Credly. Follow the instructions in the email to accept your digital badge and access the your certificate.

No, certifications do NOT expire. Qlik releases new exams regularly and each certification has a release or version number, so old certifications are designed to “age-out” naturally and become less relevant over time.

The exams are refreshed regularly, so the differences in the exams are dependent on the features of each new release since the exam was last updated. The differences could be major or minor. It is up to you to decide how often to update your certifications. Employees of Qlik partners may have certain requirements to be part of the Qlik Partner Program - contact your Partner Account Manager for the latest compliance information.

Pearson VUE Test Centers have staff on-site to assist you. If a question cannot be answered or the problem cannot be solved while you are at the test center, ask the exam proctor to create a case to record the incident details, and then follow up with Pearson VUE directly to resolve the problem.
