Today we announced the launch of Qlik Cloud Data Integration, our new Enterprise Integration Platform as a Service (eiPaaS) offering that is a significant expansion of our Qlik Cloud portfolio.
It’s been quite a journey over the last few years that’s led to this moment. Starting with our acquisition of Podium and then Attunity, we’ve been steadily building a data integration platform – through both innovation and acquisition – to help enterprises increase the value of their data through better access, transformation, and delivery of that data from any target to any destination within the organization.
It's no secret that the cloud has taken center stage in enterprise data strategies. And while our on-premises Qlik Data Integration suite of services has been delivering tremendous value to brands like JB Hunt and Urban Outfitters (and continues to!), customers and the market have been moving toward wanting data integration as a service to power their enterprise data mesh. And it makes sense as there is considerable benefit in cloud hyperscaler platforms including agility, scalability, elasticity and more.
So today with the launch of Qlik Cloud Data Integration, you can automate the access, movement, transformation, delivery, and analysis of your data with Qlik. You can mix and match on-premises and cloud options with both data integration and analytics from Qlik to match your specific data needs. And we are holding fast and true to our position that being agnostic is what’s best for the customer. That means being able to effectively work with and deliver all your data to all the major cloud platforms, and Qlik Cloud Data Integration keeps that tradition alive, working out of the box with AWS (Amazon Web Services), Google Cloud (Big Query), Databricks, Snowflake and Microsoft Azure (Synapse Analytics). But don’t take our word for it…
“Organizations are digitally transforming their businesses and are increasingly seeking solutions that enable real-time insights for their business operations. Qlik Cloud Data Integration is a welcome evolution in Qlik's ability to help customers deliver data they need and drive more value from their investments in Google BigQuery." – Naveen Punjabi, Director, Analytics & Data Science Partners, Google Cloud
“Qlik’s enterprise-grade Data integration capabilities eliminate the ‘integration tax’ in making data from a broad spectrum of enterprise databases and systems easily accessible for analytics applications in the Microsoft Intelligent Data Platform.” – Karthik Ravindran, General Manager, Enterprise Analytics and Data Governance, Microsoft
“Customers are always looking for ways to get the most value from their enterprise data that will lead to better, quicker business decisions. Combining the power of Qlik Cloud Data Integration with Snowflake’s Data Cloud will expand the potential of real-time analytics in the cloud for our joint customers.” – Tarik Dwiek, Head of Technology Alliances, Snowflake
"Cloud data integration technologies and services are a critical component of managing data pipelines and downstream analytics use cases in the modern data environment. Qlik’s set of technology services provide users with data access and integration capabilities across hybrid and multi-cloud platforms, enabling management of modern data to activate data and analytics.” - Stewart Bond, Vice President, Data Intelligence and Integration Software research at IDC
It’s a big day at Qlik, but the job is not done. We’ll continue to bring more innovations into Qlik Cloud Data Integration over the coming months and years, and we’re looking forward to seeing many of you at the upcoming AWS re:Invent show in Las Vegas.
