During September and October, we celebrated the expansive culture and spirit of Hispanic and Latin communities, with impactful experiences led by our Latinos Unidos Employee Resource Group (ERG).
For us, this month means honoring that as a community, we’ve made incredible strides. We’ve built spaces of belonging. We’ve amplified underrepresented voices. We’ve educated, empowered, and inspired many. But our work is far from over. We must continue to challenge stereotypes, advocate for equity, and create opportunities for the next generation. We must keep showing up—not just during Hispanic Heritage Month, but every day—with pride in who we are and hope for what we can become.
Our Qlik community spent this time engaging in a diverse range of activities to honor our community.
Virtual Cafe con Leche: Joined by our ERG Executive Advisor and Qlik’s COO, Roberto Sigona, we explored human connection and reflected on qualities like resilience, workplace experience, and cultural richness that shape our community’s history and experience.
Digital Scavenger Hunt: The digital game was a perfect mix of lighthearted competition and learning, offering both entertainment and valuable insights for everyone involved. Our participants faced a variety of challenges, ranging from clothes, sports, to cuisine, and beyond.
Office Celebrations: Every year, multiple offices enjoy delicious food inspired by or prepared by a Hispanic business. This year was no different as Qlikkies gathered to enjoy and appreciate the hard work from local communities.
