What Our Customers Are Telling Us Qlik Named a 2025 Gartner Peer Insights Customers Choice for Analytics and Business Intelligence Platforms

When recognition comes directly from customers, it feels different.

I am very proud that Qlik has been named a Customers’ Choice in the 2025 Gartner® Peer Insights™ Voice of the Customer for Analytics and Business Intelligence Platforms. This is the second year in a row that Qlik has received this distinction. It is based entirely on feedback and reviews from verified users of Qlik solutions around the world.

For a company built on the belief that trusted, governed data should drive better real world decisions, we believe this matters a lot.

What Customers’ Choice means

“Voice of the Customer” is a document that synthesizes Gartner Peer Insights reviews into insights for buyers of technology and services. This aggregated peer perspective, along with the individual detailed reviews, is complementary to Gartner expert research and can play a key role in your buying process. Peers are verified reviewers of a technology product or service, who not only rate the offering, but also provide valuable feedback to consider before making a purchase decision.

In simple terms, we believe customers are not only choosing Qlik, they are happy with the experience, and they are continuing to invest in and expand how they use us.

When you read what they say, some clear themes appear.

“Qlik brings that to the masses”

One customer captured the impact very clearly:

“Qlik has been amazing in getting us to be a data driven organization. Data is a strategic moat for us in making better decisions at scale. Qlik brings that to the masses, equipping each of our team members to make the right action in the right moment.”

And highlighted why that is possible:

“The flexibility is the key standout for me & my team. We have a myriad of data sources and Qlik interconnects them all. It also allows us to embed AI and Gen AI solutions directly into applications creating a full data eco system.”

For us, this is exactly the point.

Analytics and AI are only valuable if they change how people act. Customers need to bring together many different data sources, and then put intelligence directly into the applications and workflows where teams make decisions.

“A continuous partner for over 10 years”

I am also pleased to see comments about long term partnership:

“Qlik has been a continuous partner for over 10 years. They’ve continuously delivered a better tool year in and year out, worked with us when we’ve had issues, and proactively solved situations that were impediments for us.”

And about how we support different types of users:

“Qlik really works hard to meet users where they are. For data engineers, no matter where you're data is housed, Qlik Can integrate. For developers, working from script to drag and drop, it gives new developers help and veteran developers the depth to create anything. And most importantly, for end users - Qlik extendability. It's own platform is top tier, but also has the ability to embed where end users are already doing there work.”

This balance is very important.

  • Data engineers need open and robust integration.

  • Developers need depth and choice in how they design experiences.

  • Business users need insight where they already work, not in another tab they will forget to open.

A platform that keeps evolving

Another review described how Qlik has become the primary analytics reference point for their company:

“Qlik Sense is our company's primary analytics reference. The platform continues to evolve with valuable enhancements, constantly expanding its capabilities to meet modern business intelligence requirements. The wide array of free connectors has been instrumental in accelerating data access to third party cloud based tools, decreasing project costs while increasing outputs and the development of new business processes.”

I appreciate this feedback because I feel it shows two important things.

First, customers see Qlik as a central analytics and decision platform. Second, they notice when we reduce friction, for example with free connectors that make it faster and cheaper to access the data they need.

To us these reviews also include very clear suggestions for what customers want next. For example, richer visualisation options, expanded native functionality, easier pixel perfect reporting, and better data input capabilities. This type of input directly informs how we shape our roadmap.

Governed analytics that scale

When organizations modernise their business intelligence, they are not just looking for nicer charts. They are looking for an environment that can scale globally and safely.

One customer put it this way:

“When we were deciding platforms to transform our outdated Business Intelligence offering, Qlik stood out for being flexible with data integration, functionality and ease to scale globally. They truly listen to customer feedback and make improvements and add value to new product development quickly.”

We hear this message clearly.

Customers need flexibility, however it must be built on a trusted and governed foundation. That is especially critical as they bring more AI into production. They need to know where data comes from, how it is transformed, who can see it, and how insights are generated.

Moving to Qlik Cloud, faster and more productive

A number of customers also spoke about the impact of moving to Qlik Cloud Analytics:

“Qlik Cloud is faster and insightful, moving from on prem to Qlik Cloud has increased efficiency and productivity, creating faster insights with alot less manual efforts."

And on specific features that matter to end users:

“Subscription option in Qlik Cloud has been a game changer and an end user favorite feature in Qlik Cloud, as well as the alert function.”

This is exactly what we want to see. Less manual effort, more timely insight. Features like subscriptions and alerts help bring analytics to people, instead of asking people to go and find analytics.

As Chief Customer Officer, I read these reviews with both gratitude and focus.

Gratitude, because this recognition comes directly from the people who use Qlik every day. Focus, because this feedback is a very clear signal about where we are delivering well, and where we need to keep improving.
