Led by Qlik.org and our Qlik Academic Program, we are asking students across the globe to develop visualizations and link them to regional and global programs to positively impact the effort to reach these ambitious goals, which include good health and well-being, clean water and sanitation, as well as gender equality, among others. All entries will be reviewed and judged by Qlik and other UN Sustainable Development Goals experts. Winners will be announced in April and presented at QlikWorld Online in May, which can be registered for by clicking here.
Qlik and the United Nations have been partners for several years and most recently developed a dashboard to visualize the global indicators of progress to achieve the 17 Sustainable Development Goals. We have the public data ready in Qlik and are asking for your creative genius to identify ways to inspire the world by showcasing innovative ways for people – especially young people – to work to achieve these goals.
Individuals and teams can participate from anywhere around the world on the global challenges. Specific details around each of the challenges, how to register, how to submit entries, judging criteria and prizes, along with terms and conditions are contained within registration instructions. Final submissions are due April 2nd.
