CHALLENGE

Getting the right food to the people who need it

Foodbank Victoria delivers 25 million meals annually to those in need but ensuring that the most suitable food in appropriate quantities was delivered was a challenge.

Foodbank Victoria was using Qlik on-premises but needed a cloud-based solution to improve insights and distribution. The organization aimed to analyze data from multiple internal and external sources and chose Qlik Cloud Analytics as the platform for this transformation.

APPROACH

Data analysis delivers insights into food needs and sources

Having both Qlik Cloud Analytics and its ERP platform in the cloud has enabled better integration and significantly increased the functionality that Foodbank Victoria is able to gain from Qlik. Leveraging the analytics services and resourcing of Notitia, Foodbank Victoria was able to execute the migration quickly and efficiently.

Applying Qlik’s data analytics and reporting capabilities to multiple internal and external datasets allows Foodbank Victoria to understand community food needs at a much more granular level than previously. It also delivers more timely and accurate information on food supply from donors and provides important feedback to bolster vital relationships.
