Dataspark is the result of a simple but highly perceptive idea: ERP systems such as Exact Online have comprehensive functions that cover a range of business needs but lack the ability to effectively visualize the data they are acquiring.

Dataspark saw that by feeding all the data into an external analytics tool, it could build dashboards and reports that would significantly outperform the source platforms’ native offerings. However, it realized that it needed to go beyond simply creating a handful of ‘one-size-fits-all’ visualizations.

Snaphaan took a typical customer dataset and tested it out on a handful of analytics tools. Qlik Sense delivered a dashboard in 30 minutes, giving Dataspark the vital component it needed to establish itself with a core set of Exact Online users.

The Dataspark solution took a significant step forward when it transitioned with Qlik to the cloud. And as the capabilities of Qlik Cloud Analytics grew, Dataspark eventually became a fully independently managed cloud-based platform, allowing it to develop an even stronger client base and achieve outstanding growth rates.

RESULTS

New levels of understanding create new possibilities

For Snaphaan, Qlik is an excellent match to Dataspark’s agility and quick responses to customer requirements. This is complemented by Qlik’s ability to acquire and present data that was previously only available to separate, isolated functions.

For one Dataspark client, data acquisition processes have been cut from days to near-real time – a significant time saving and an important indicator of what Qlik can achieve. The next steps promise to be even more exciting, as Dataspark looks to add Qlik AutoML and predictive analytics to its offering.
