Every business needs working, productive assets. And for a commercial airline operating on tight margins and even tighter schedules, lost time is expensive. B&H Worldwide specializes in time-critical logistics for the aviation industry. Its mission is to supply the components that keep aircraft flying.
The flexibility and quick responses that set B&H apart from its competitors were, however, being held back by a complex set of platforms used by the business. It wanted daily, accurate information instead of being weeks behind the curve.

APPROACH
Early use cases deliver key insights
B&H needed a solution that would acquire, consolidate, process and present data quickly and accurately from a range of global sources in multiple formats and file types. London-based Qlik Partner, Data Technology, introduced B&H to Qlik Sense, which met all its requirements and more.
Even very early use cases delivered key insights and highlighted areas where B&H could improve its operation. As the applications grew, B&H began to extend Qlik’s analytics and presentation capabilities and started migrating to Qlik Cloud Analytics to improve customer access.

RESULTS
Enabling a real competitive advantage
B&H’s implementation of Qlik quickly proved to be highly astute during the Covid lockdowns, helping to monitor job volumes and performance, and advise clients. It played a key role in cementing Qlik at B&H.
Data that once took up to four weeks to acquire is now available daily. As a result, management dashboards inform quick decisions, monitor daily activity and track performance. One popular customer app allows them to track spending with B&H on a daily, weekly and monthly basis, while another monitors greenhouse gas emissions for each shipment handled.
