Qlik partners play an essential role in helping our joint customers close the gaps between data, insights, and action. To show how Qlik can solve customers’ complex data and analytics needs, partners recently submitted unique demos highlighting Qlik’s end-to-end capabilities as part of the Global Partner Active Intelligence Demo Challenge.

The Demo Challenge was open to Qlik’s entire network of over 1700 partners and invited individuals to prepare original demos with a focus on Qlik Cloud and Active Intelligence messaging and associated capabilities.

We're excited to announce this year's winner of the Active Intelligence Demo Challenge: Frederic Vissers, Competence Lead, Data & Analytics and Qlik Consultant with EpicData (formerly AtOnce), a Qlik Elite Solutions Provider Partner. Visser's demo brought the vision of Active Intelligence to life by taking a retail sales customer through a data-driven transformation using Qlik Cloud to maximize competitive advantage and cost savings while increasing speed to insights.

In Vissers’ winning demo, he tells the story of “Epic Market.” The theoretical organization is always playing catch-up with disparate and slow-moving data due to a gap between the IT and business units, and is managing through challenges integrating data across multiple stores that utilize distinct data sources, including the addition of a new retail branch.

Vissers demonstrates how Epic Market can utilize Qlik Data Integration to combine siloed data from their existing stores, as well as the newly acquired branch. Sales managers can then explore Qlik analytics for detailed customer demographic insights and buying trends while enabling new use cases.

For example, Epic Market’s sales managers wanted an easy way to monitor weekly sales. With fashion accessories sales declining, Vissers demonstrates how managers can easily set sales triggers and receive real-time, automated alerts to track performance. Stalled or cancelled online orders were also a concern. With Qlik’s no-code application automation, Vissers showcases how managers can easily build a drag-and-drop workflow, create opportunities in Salesforce, generate and send reports, and take action to follow-up with customers who have cancelled orders. Finally, Vissers also shares how Epic Market can utilize Qlik AutoML to explore predictive data when making future decisions impacting stores and customers.

As Vissers says of Qlik’s end-to-end platform, “the genius of the process lies in its simplicity and understandability.” His demo makes it clear that Qlik provides the best possible solution for Epic Market by delivering real-time, up-to-date information that triggers immediate action.

While the Epic Market demo focused on a retail sales customer, EpicData works with organizations across all industries. In early 2023, Qlik and EpicData will be hosting a joint webinar showcasing our partnership and how EpicData provides support and services using Qlik Cloud solutions.
