Qlik Cloud Government Takes Big Step Forward with New FedRAMP Certified Capabilities

Since the unveiling of Qlik Cloud Government in Q3 of 2021, the releases of new innovations and technologies into the platform haven’t slowed down one bit.

With our most recent and significant release to date, Qlik Cloud Government now offers the most comprehensive SaaS platform across data integration, analytics, and automation that is FedRAMP and DOD Authorized. The newly authorized elements are available in Qlik Cloud Government today and include Qlik Cloud Data Integration, Qlik Application Automation, Direct Query, Qlik Data Gateway - Direct Access, and more! These added capabilities increase the unique power of Qlik Cloud Government to securely support the end-to-end data lifecycles of our U.S. Public Sector customers. This is an incredible feature set enables our customers to take advantage of everything cloud like decreased operational costs, but also everything Qlik. Meaning our U.S. Public Sector customers who need the security of FedRAMP compliant SaaS offerings and also want the power of Qlik Cloud can now have it all within Qlik Cloud Government.

Government organizations have historically had big barriers in their way when wanting to deploy new technology and modernize operations. The ability to gain approvals for procuring hardware or moving data to systems would always take a long time in the ATO (Authorization to Operate) process. Qlik Cloud Government is also in the process of being approved by StateRAMP and very much like FedRAMP, this accreditation offers a mature security framework that accelerated cloud adoption for State and local governments, public education institutions, and special districts.
