Auckland – Qlik®, a global leader in data integration, analytics, and artificial intelligence (AI), has today announced Ando Insurance, a leading New Zealand insurer, has significantly improved its customer experience for New Zealanders. By leveraging Qlik Cloud®, Ando has reduced the time it takes to respond to insurance claims by 75-hours each month, ensuring better decision-making enabled by automation through rapid access to accurate information, and ultimately enhancing the customer and broker experience.
The growing Ando customer base has driven the adoption of Qlik’s capabilities, with the company seeing 30% yearly growth, and the ambition to amalgamate data for over 100,000 policyholders to better inform decision-making. The versatility and Qlik’s ease of use has prompted Ando to expand the software across its 300-strong team in all departments, spanning operations, claims, portfolio management, and underwriting, with Qlik becoming integral to Ando's operational fabric.
Claims handling transformed and delivered during disaster response
Using Qlik's AI-powered cloud platform, Ando has improved decision-making speed and reduced administrative burden, significantly improving the number of claims processed each month. Ando’s implementation of Qlik Application Automation® has resulted in a significant reduction of the time spent on claim searches, enabling claims personnel to make more informed and timely decisions. This automation has allowed Ando employees to remain focused on delivering their expertise to customers.
Acumen BI, a Qlik Partner, has played a pivotal role in the deployment of Qlik, laying down robust data models that underpin the system's functionality. Additionally, Acumen BI has been instrumental in facilitating the migration from on-premises to cloud, ensuring a seamless transition for Ando.
