Milan – Qlik®, a global leader in data integration, analytics, and artificial intelligence (AI), today announced the company is powering Thauma, the first Digital Performance Intelligence assistant to support CEOs and decision makers in small and medium enterprises (SMEs). Thanks to a strategic partnership between the two companies, Thauma is building its Performance Management Intelligence software entirely on Qlik Sense and its associative analytics engine.
Corporate governance is becoming increasingly complex, and it is particularly difficult for CEOs to have total control over their company’s activities. For this reason, simplifying procedures by adopting digital transformation has become a priority in today’s market. This is how Thauma was founded, the first digital assistant to support CEOs who want to make decisions faster, monitor business objectives and compare them in real time with investments and results, controlling performance and processes in an agile way.
“Since its inception, Thauma has found the ideal partner in Qlik with whom we could develop our software,” said Massimiliano Oleotto, Managing Director of Thauma Digital Performance Intelligence. “If the heart of Thauma is a synthesis of the business data obtained from a company's ERP data, as well as industry and sector data obtained from rating platforms, the way to transform it into new knowledge is made possible thanks to the ‘engine’ that is Qlik. I speak of new knowledge because Thauma does not search for some useful information in the available data, but requires precise data to obtain precise knowledge, the one needed to govern a company, knowledge that until now has been precluded to SMEs. After all, thauma, in Greek, indicates the sense of wonder that new knowledge gives, which is what the CEOs who have decided to adopt Thauma are now experiencing.”
Thauma’s goal is to provide CEOs with a tool that is as powerful as it is easy to use. For this reason, the company decided to use Qlik Sense as its analytical engine, integrating it directly into its performance management intelligence solution. CEOs and decision makers are able explore, analyze and extract the company's strategic data in a simple, mobile friendly real time view, to fully understand the areas of optimization and growth opportunities of their business.
Thauma has benefited from the availability of the Qlik platform in OEM mode, which allows all analysis and visualization capabilities to be integrated into any solution in a way that is totally transparent to end users. Over the course of 2024, Thauma will be migrating the solution to Qlik Cloud, allowing the company to take advantage of AI-powered insight for improved data-driven decisions.
“We are proud of the collaboration between Qlik and Thauma, which allows us to support entrepreneurs and CEOs of companies and small and medium-sized enterprises in the daily evaluation of their performance,” said Rosagrazia Bombini, Vice President ISV OEM & MSP Global at Qlik. “With the increasing complexity of business needs, data plays an increasingly crucial role in any company. Only through a complete understanding of the data is it possible to identify success factors or areas for improvement. Integrating Qlik Sense into Thauma's innovative platform, allows us to provide businesses with the most intuitive experience possible and enabling CEOs and business leaders to identify and adjust business strategies and processes based on certain, measured elements that are consistently data driven.”
