A family business with an eye on the future
Kotányi’s state-of-the-art Wolkersdorf production and development facility, located near Vienna, handles more than 4,500 different products and employs over 600 people. Over time, Kotányi’s legacy business intelligence infrastructure began to show its age.
Data storage and management were becoming increasingly maintenance-intensive, and performance started to struggle as a result. This resulted in slow queries and complex workarounds and began to restrict the company’s critical reporting and decision-making processes.
