Sam Pierson

As Qlik's corporate Chief Technology Officer, Sam leads the Cloud & Technology Services team. This organization is focused on building Qlik's cloud platform and infrastructure, technology strategy, design, AI platform, and AI/ML research teams. Previously, Sam led the R&D teams in the Qlik Data Business unit, and was responsible for scaling the engineering organization, product operations, integrating the data portfolio, delivering product innovation, and continued market growth.

Prior to Qlik, Sam held multiple technology executive leadership roles at companies across the healthcare, education technology, supply chain, and data industries, including serving as CTO at Talend.

Sam has a BS in Computer Science from the College of Science and Engineering at the University of Minnesota and holds an MBA from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota.
