Introducing the Qlik Data Impact Awards

Celebrating customer success has always been at the heart of our annual Qlik customer awards program. Over the years, the Global Transformation Awards have showcased stories of innovation, progress and meaningful change, recognizing customer achievements around the world.

As our customers continue to evolve, so does the way they create value. Today, the conversation is more direct. How is data helping improve decisions? Reduce risk? Increase efficiency? Deliver measurable business outcomes? Prepare the business for AI?

To better reflect this momentum, we are excited to introduce the Qlik Data Impact Awards.

This new name captures what really matters: the real results customers are creating when they put trusted data to work. Better visibility. Faster decisions. Stronger governance. Smarter operations. More confidence in the actions they take.

That is impact.

It’s also important to highlight that data in this context is broad. It is not meant to narrow the program to technical teams or suggest the awards are only for data management organizations. It includes analytics users, business-led success stories, and the full chain of value creation across analytics, integration, governance, automation, and AI readiness.

That matters, because the best customer stories are rarely about one tool or one team on its own. Real impact happens when trusted data, insight, and execution come together to solve a meaningful organizational problem.

That is what we want these awards to celebrate.

We decided to move to the new name because it is:

  • clearer

  • more outcome-led

  • broad enough to include analytics and business-led success stories

That last point is important. AI is becoming a bigger part of how organizations think about value, and for many customers it is already part of the journey. But not every important achievement needs to be focused purely on AI to matter. Some of the most valuable work happening today is about getting the fundamentals right, improving data quality, connecting systems, strengthening insight, and helping people make faster, better decisions.

That is impact too. What is certainly not changing is the rigor or spirit of the program. We are still recognizing real customer achievements with clear, defensible outcomes. We are still celebrating organizations that are solving critical problems, creating meaningful value, and leading by example.

The new name simply does a better job of describing what those achievements represent today.

Good luck to all of this year’s finalists. We are looking forward to celebrating your achievements, and winners will be announced before Wednesday’s Qlik Connect keynote.
