One of the main roadblocks to making this vision a reality is managing the access, flow and availability of trusted data into the systems everyone uses every day. There is just too much friction; too many questions about if the data is the most current versions; is it trusted and governed. These limit staff’s comfort and use of data.
Qlik and Microsoft have been partnering for a while now to make it easier for staff to access their most important data for analysis and use. We launched a joint proof of value (POV) last year to help Azure customers speed up the analysis of their SAP data in Azure Synapse by combining Qlik Data Integration’s automated data delivery capabilities with the Azure platform’s openness and agility.
Building on a strong engineering and GTM relationship with Microsoft, today we are excited to be part of the Microsoft Intelligent Partner Ecosystem, so that our mutual customers can benefit from seamless experience of Qlik Data Integration within the open and well governed MIDP platform. Now Microsoft customers can confidently leverage Qlik Data Integration to feed data from any source – mainframe, SAP, production systems – into the MIDP to deliver a seamless data experience for enterprise users.
“Qlik’s enterprise-grade Data integration capabilities eliminate the ‘integration tax’ in making data from a broad spectrum of enterprise databases and systems easily accessible for analytics applications in the Microsoft Intelligent Data Platform” – Karthik Ravindran, General Manager, Enterprise Analytics and Data Governance, Microsoft.
