Lars Björk

Chief Executive Officer

Lars Björk leads QlikTech as CEO and is a member of the company’s board of directors. He oversaw the company’s initial public offering (IPO) in 2010 on the NASDAQ, which was recognized as one of the year’s top tech IPOs. Under Mr. Björk’s leadership, Qlik has sustained tremendous growth of nearly 300%.

Mr. Björk is recognized as an authority on driving company culture through an accessible management style, with articles appearing in the New York Times, Forbes and Harvard Business Review and speaking engagements at conferences including the CEO2CEO Leadership Summit. He attended the World Economic Forum, was named the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year national winner in the technology category and was invited to speak at the e-G8 Forum. More recently he was nominated to participate in Startup America, a White House initiative to accelerate high-growth entrepreneurship.

Before Qlik, Mr. Björk held several positions as CFO at companies such as ScandStick and Resurs Finance. He has an MBA from the University of Lund, Sweden and a Degree in Engineering from the Technical College in Helsingborg.

Chief People Officer

Diane leads the global human resources organization and is focused on building the Qlik culture—a fun, high-performance culture with people who care about “making a difference” with our customers and in our communities. She and her team are responsible for creating and implementing HR strategies to scale with rapid growth, to include recruitment, total rewards, talent and executive development, and HR systems and operations.

Diane is an innovative leader with a strong global orientation, diverse background, and a consistent record of growing technology businesses. She is experienced in Fortune 500 and entrepreneurial environments. Diane is known for building values-based, high-performance cultures and helping others to reach their potential. She has a demonstrated record of excellence in organizational and leadership development, change management and strategic staffing for high-growth companies, with her teams hiring more than 60,000 people in her career.

Prior to Qlik, Diane was Executive Vice President, Culture and Talent, with Allscripts, where her team was instrumental in growing the company from $500M to $1.44B. Diane also served in a number of human resources leadership roles in her 14 years with Cisco Systems. During her last three years with Cisco, she held the dual role of Vice President, Human Resources, International; and Vice President, Human Resources, Worldwide Sales, growing Cisco from 4,500 people when she joined to 70,000 people in 152 countries. Both Allscripts and Cisco were consistently recognized as “Best Places to Work.”

Diane holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from UNC Chapel Hill. She is passionate about giving back and serves on several boards, including the International Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) Board, where she is a recipient of the “Living and Giving” Award.

Les is responsible for the Qlik global sales and field operations. Les is a 25 year veteran of the IT industry with extensive experience in IT Consulting, international sales and business management in hyper growth companies. Formerly a Vice President and General Manager for Oracle Corp, Les was responsible for establishing Oracle's presence in Eastern Europe and managed Oracle's Middle East and Africa businesses. Following a successful career, Les moved to Siebel Systems where he for 5 years served as the Vice President for Northern Europe, Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa, where he also successfully managed the business from startup to market dominance. Prior to joining Qlik in June 2005, Les was the Vice President and General Manager International Markets for the Document Management company StreamServe.

With a track record of establishing highly successful businesses in International markets with both direct and indirect distribution strategies Les brings world class knowledge and practical experience to the Executive team of Qlik.

Anthony Deighton

Senior Vice President, Products

As Chief Technology Officer and Senior Vice President, Products, Anthony is responsible for guiding product strategy and leads all aspects of the company’s R&D efforts. Since joining in 2005, Anthony has played a critical role in evolving and driving QlikView's product evolution to maximize the potential of business user-driven BI.

Previously, Anthony was the General Manager of Siebel System's Employee Relationship Management (ERM) business unit. Anthony helped found the ERM business at Siebel and it grew to over 300 customers, $20 million a year in license revenue, was recognized as Siebel's fastest-growing product line and named Product Line of the Year.

Prior to joining Siebel, Anthony worked as a management consultant at A.T. Kearney in Chicago.

Anthony holds a B.A. in Economics from Northwestern University and an M.B.A. with high distinction from Harvard Business School.

Qlik Chief Marketing Officer - Rick Jackson

Rick leads global marketing strategy and execution as Qlik continues to build upon its leadership position in the growing Business Discovery market. A technologist at heart, he has more than 25 years of experience marketing software and services to businesses and consumers in the technology industry.

Rick joins Qlik from Rackspace where he was CMO and a member of the company’s senior leadership team. Prior to Rackspace, he served as CMO at VMware, where he was responsible for leading the company’s global marketing strategy since early 2009. In addition, Rick has led marketing organizations at Borland Software, BEA Systems, and NetGravity. He brings a valuable combination of SMB and enterprise marketing skills to Qlik including his extensive knowledge of cloud computing, infrastructure software, application middleware, and developer frameworks.

Rick holds a B.S. degree in Computer Science, from California State University, Northridge.

Debbie Lofton

Vice President and General Counsel and Secretary

Debbie is responsible for providing legal support on operational issues and developing and implementing business processes to achieve business goals and mitigate risk. She also supports SEC reporting and corporate governance compliance programs, joint venture and merger and acquisition transactions,intellectual property activities, and manages internal and external legal resources.

She joins Qlik from McCausland Keen & Buckman, where she provided legal services to public and private clients in the areas of securities, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, business counseling, and general corporate law. Prior to McCausland Keen & Buckman, Debbie was the SVP, General Counsel and Secretary for InfraSource Services, Inc. where she was responsible for corporate governance and compliance, SEC reporting, litigation management, acquisitions and divestitures, labor and employment, and general commercial. She has also served as SVP and General Counsel for SunGard Availability Services, EVP and General Counsel of RMH Teleservices Inc. and VP-Legal and Assistant General Counsel for SunGard Data Systems.

Debbie holds a J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law and a B.A. from the University of Virginia.

As Chief Financial Officer, Tim is responsible for all finance, treasury, investor relations, tax, audit and information technology aspects of the company’s business.

Tim’s background includes both chief financial officer and chief operating officer positions at industry-leading companies. Most recently, he served as Chief Operating Officer, Global Vendor Finance, for De Lage Landen International B.V. Tim also served as Corporate Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Crane Co., and held various positions at Xerox Corporation including Corporate Vice President and Vice President, Finance, Xerox North America; and Chief Financial Officer, Xerox Europe.

Tim holds an MBA in Finance and a BS in Accounting and Law from Clarkson University. He is a graduate of the INSEAD International Executive Program and is a Lean Six Sigma Certified Green Belt.

Mike Potter

Senior Vice President, Global Engineering

As Senior Vice President of Global Engineering, Mike leads the global research and development team as Qlik continues to cement its technological leadership in data discovery. Mike has nearly 20 years of software product development experience, including extensive management of large global engineering teams.

Mike worked at Cognos for 13 years, and was one of the originators of Cognos Business Intelligence (BI) products. After IBM’s acquisition of Cognos, he spent six years with the company leading global development organizations for Financial Performance Management and BI across the various Cognos product lines. Most recently, Mike was Senior Vice President of Engineering at CA Technologies where he led the global development organization across multiple product lines.

Mike was an IBM Distinguished Engineer and is an accomplished inventor with multiple patents and expertise in financial analytics, financial performance management, data and business modeling, master data management, OLAP, SQL, and Data Access. He holds both a Bachelor of Computer Science and Master of Computer Science from the University of Ottawa.
