Qlik® today announced the launch of its new Canada cloud region, expanding its global cloud infrastructure and reinforcing its commitment to delivering secure, high-performance, and compliant solutions for customers across Canada.

Built to align with Government of Canada CCCS Moderate security standards, the Canada cloud region will support the processing, transfer, and storage of sensitive data. Qlik will pursue CCCS authorization following regional availability, enabling federal agencies and departments to adopt the platform once compliance requirements are met.

This announcement reflects Qlik’s continued investment in Canada, including its established R&D center in Ottawa and growing network of customers, partners, and employees across the country. The region will initially be available to commercial, provincial, and municipal customers, with federal adoption expected to follow based on compliance timelines. Additional certifications, including SOC 2 and ISO standards, will also apply, further strengthening trust and security across deployments.
