The Sales Organization 


The Sales Organization in Qlik is the primary connection to our customers and prospects; focusing on driving revenue in new accounts and expanding our presence in the territory's existing customer. The teams work geographically or are industry focused.

 

How you will spend your time as our next Target Account Manager

 

Your objective is to grow Qlik France revenues in the Named Accounts area: manage the sales cycle effectively leveraging a value selling approach to drive license revenue in the territory, leveraging our Partner network

Key responsibilities:

  • Independently identify and acquire new customers, as well as upsell to existing customer base on territory and exceed all business and revenue targets.
  • Maximize revenue potential in the Installed Base market directly and in collaboration with Qlik's partners and Qlik's Alliances team
  • Manage the designated territory as a business; incorporating customers, prospects, Qlik's partners, Qlik's marketing and Industry Forums.
  • In conjunction and strong collaboration with pre-sales, deliver successful “Proof of Concepts” events
  • Effectively manage and drive the sales cycle from prospection through to successful closure, leveraging a value selling approach
  • Engage and develop a strong network with decision makers/key influencers within the customer community and partner community 
  • Act as an ambassador for the French business on the Market lead and champion Qlik in this key business segment.
  • Drive customer success through strong understanding of their business and ability to strongly engage the Qlik value proposition within those customer communities. 
  • Build up a sustainable and robust pipeline quarter by quarter and ensure accurate and rigorous forecasting and account planning. 
  • Participate and act as spokesperson in trade show events, workshops and seminars as appropriate for the segment.
  • Develop long term and trustworthy and collaborative relationships across all levels within the customer/partner/Qlik community

 

You will be successful if you have

 

  • Results focused and ability to execute successful plans
  • Excellent communication, listening, presentation, and writing skills
  • Strong business orientation and commercial acumen
  • Demonstrable experience calling on and selling to senior decision makers – in both business and IT
  • Ability to qualify and prioritize prospects, and generate opportunities through prospecting, networking and relationship building
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • An outgoing, focused and organized person with a strong will to succeed
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment
  • Ability to identify and understand key market drivers
  • Ability to react quickly and appropriately to new situations that arise suddenly.

 

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience direct solution selling in the territory.
  • 3+ years of experience with Business Intelligence Software or equivalent.
  • Strong record of achieving revenue quota, experience working with partners.
  • Fluent in French and English
