We are seeking a Documentation Manager to lead our team of technical writers and deliver the technical content for our products.

How you will spend your time as our next Documentation Manager

  • Develop and grow a team of technical writers, performing all people management responsibilities.
  • Work with other managers to lead technical writers in multiple geographies, project managing the delivery of content for new functionality and improvements to existing documentation.
  • Drive the writing practices and standards necessary to ensure high quality delivery of content to our different products.
  • Analyze documentation needs based on product roadmap, functional requirements and customer feedback, translating them into information requirements for your team.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with different stakeholders, resulting in successful deliverables. This includes working with R&D, Product Management, Customer Success and other organizations.
  • Contribute to the documentation roadmap and to the vision for the technical documentation team.
  • Constantly encourage innovation and foster a collaborative and positive environment.
  • Inspire greatness in your team and across the organization by demonstrating and encouraging Qlik values.

You will be successful if you have the following skills and experience

  • Previous experience as documentation manager preferred
  • Skilled in technical writing practices and standards
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in/with a multitude of teams
  • Strong problem-solving skills, flexibility and adaptability
  • Passion for quality
  • Broad technical understanding
  • Bachelor’s degree in Technical Writing, Communications, Computer Science or applicable field.
