The Marketing Organization/Team
The mission of the marketing team is to create an irresistible brand that fosters a passionate fan base. We’re a team of market savvy, creative professionals dedicated to results-oriented, metrics-based outcomes that drive pipeline, sales success, and awareness. We cover a wide range of functions including field marketing, digital marketing, product marketing, global events, and much more.

How you will spend your time as our next EMEA Communications Manager

  • Report directly to the Public Relations Director, owning EMEA public relations execution and Global Thought Leadership, contributing strategic, creative ideas and programme management for earned media (incuding news momentum, trend spotting and thought leadership) programs that influences the market and customer prospects
  • Establish processes for a programmatic approach of communication and education of business, technology and industry media about Qlik’s tech innovation, thought leadership and corporate responsibility programmes, including rapid response to key relevant issues.
  • Support the delivery of Global integrated Thought Leadership campaigns in local markets aross the region.
  • Work with local markets to drive an Executive Communications programme that drives profiles of Qlik’s global andnocal execs amongst key business media.
  • Work with local and customer marketing teams to mine for compelling customers that bring the Qlik story to life.
  • Partner with Qlik’s PR agencies across EMEA to build and manage an outstanding media relations program, maintaining and growing relationships across the technology, business and industry landscape.
  • Manage and execute regular pitch mining and trend identification for Qlik spokespeople across business, technology and industry markets/issues.
  • Work closely with the global marketing team as part of integrated programmes to brief media on product offering introductions, customer stories, partner news and corporate announcements.
  • Arrange and facilitate media briefings and briefing tours with Qlik’s PR Agency team.
  • Effectively manage inbound media inquiries and source appropriate spokespeople and materials for reporter needs.
  • Collaborate and communicate with Analyst Relations lead (based in the US) and consultant (based in UK) to drive Qlik’s reputation amongst the Analyst community.
  • Manange news monitoring and measurement reporting for key inititiaves and launches.


You will be successful if you have

  • 5-7 years strong public relations experience, preferably in enterprise software.
  • Track record of solid earned media relationships leading to influence and published articles.
  • Are a polished communicator who provides high-quality coaching and counsel to senior executives, and represents the company well to discriminating media.
  • Out of the box, disruptive, creative, “think different” approach to media relations. Evidence of creative storytelling campaigns that have impacted mult-channels is critical.
  • Are a self-starter and independent leader with proven project management skills.
  • Excellent writing skills; expertise translating technology and benefits for a wide range of technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to thrive and multi-task in a fast-paced environment; working pro-actively and independently.
  • combine strategic prowess with executional excellence, outstanding team player skills and a “can-do” and positive attitude.
