CJ Bauder , JBS
Welcome - my name is CJ Bauder and I work on the Qlik Team at JBS! I began working with JBS in 2016, and spent 5 years working in the business as an analyst. Early on, while gaining understanding of business processes, I taught myself QlikView/Sense scripting and dashboarding so we could begin leveraging these powerful visualization tools. The experience has given me a business oriented perspective into dashboard design, data architecture, and usability. Now I am excited to be a part of our Qlik Team, bringing those same learnings into the I.T. division for our company! Our session today will present our model for business engagement and success using Qlik Products. These tools empower our business to connect to data, curate a self service environment, and allow business to drive improvement from the ground. What were the strategic pillars used in the decision-making process to change the On-premises environment to Qlik Cloud? Besides the fact that Qlik Sense has been on the market for almost a decade now and Qlik SaaS has become the new shiny platform going way beyond the scope of data visualization, there is still a large share of customers running QlikView installations. Since these customers are always at risk for discontinuing Qlik, the question of how to move them successfully to Qlik Sense and Qlik SaaS is of utmost importance for the medium- and long-term commercial success of Qlik. By the example of a Managed Tax Analytics solution Deloitte operates for a large international consumer goods producer and retailer, this session will provide insights on: 1) How external shock Events like Brexit or COVID create windows of opportunity for change beyond the pure necessary 2) How internal dynamics and operating modes of Qlik partners can make them agents of change or stagnation 3) The crucial relevance of the Qlik technology partners to face the massive competition from more significant BI vendors.
