Tyler Osterman , SDG Group
I've been with SDG for a little over 2 1/2 years and working with Novartis for the last 2 years. We've used QlikSense to help transform the reporting infrastructure and environment from PPT to individual brand applications with a user intervention data model to an omnichannel reporting suite mashup approach to help revolutionize how Brands interact, explore, and investigate their data.
Next Generation Engagement is top priority for Novartis. Given the decreased access to Health Care Providers and impacts of the global pandemic, Novartis Oncology is finding new ways to engage Customers and Patients digitally. To support the business objectives and enable consistency and speed of business insights, Novartis Oncology has deployed a fully integrated digital data and analytics platform using Qlik Sense, Matillion and Snowflake. The solution includes a metadata managed central KPI library that helps to automate quality processes and ensures metrics are consistent across the application suite. A modular visual UI framework unifies applications and supports continuous improvement and iterative releases across various business applications including management dashboards, new brand launch trackers or omnichannel analytics. In this session, Novartis and SDG will detail the business value Novartis Oncology has achieved and walk participants through the innovative solution architecture and supporting DataOps methodology discussing practices followed and lessons learned.

As a leader in the pre-hospital field, the Ottawa Paramedic Service has a strong Infection Prevention and Control section to ensure the health and safety of our personnel and the community that we serve. Prior to COVID-19, tracking incidental occurrences of biological or infectious disease exposures was easily done with a manual tracking sheet. COVID-19 changed that. The Infection Prevention & Control dashboard was developed in collaboration with our Qlik partner, GINQO. Our goal was to ensure proper contact tracing of potential and/or actual COVID-19 exposures as well as all other infectious diseases. By improving the mechanisms for capturing data, notifying personnel and stakeholders, and documenting the progression of a case, this project ensured better control and monitoring of any infectious disease and ultimately had a significant impact in a pandemic situation. Join this session to learn about the many benefits of the final solution including improved efficiency of the Regulatory Compliance & Infection Control team, increased safety, and provided a robust location for case documentation. Further, the solution captures case information in a way that allows management easy and rapid access to real-time data on infection and workplace trends.
