A Letter to Our Customers

As we respond to the global outbreak of coronavirus (COVID-19), the health and safety of everyone in our global Qlik community is a top priority as we continue to provide superior service to our customers and partners. In light of recent developments and in accordance with guidance from local and global health authorities, all Qlik personnel are temporarily working from home.

Qlik has a large, broadly distributed workforce that gives us built-in business resiliency and redundancy. We have deployed our business continuity plans that allow our personnel to use secure, remote technology to support our customers. In particular, our support team is based around the globe and we do not anticipate any disruption in customer support. We are also able to continue to provide consulting services to our customers remotely.

Qlik has implemented a host of complimentary virtual offerings to help enable customer teams during this time. These range from opening up a larger portion of our Qlik Continuous Classroom trainings for free, a new free Data Analytics boot camp series of webinars, a complementary data literacy workshop, and extending our 24x7 support for critical issues to all customers and partners. We are also seeing many customers and partners respond with their own innovative Qlik applications and efforts to help out, many of which are being shared with the larger community in the Qlik Community COVID-19 Group. Similar Qlik apps can also be shared in our Qlik Gallery. Hospital systems such as University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay are using Qlik to triage the influx of COVID-19 patients to ensure quality care and staff safety. And partners like Direct Relief are working with Qlik on applications to analyze supply chain data to prioritize where COVID-19-related items like gloves, masks and gowns should be delivered.

You may hear from your account lead about our upcoming Customers Helping Customers program. This is a series of planned webinars where fellow customers will showcase how they are using Qlik to help address pressing business issues during this unprecedented time. The Qlik Corporate Responsibility team is also working with global organizations to assist with the response to the pandemic including analytical application development for the Global Private Sector Roundtable (PSRT). The PSRT was formed by private sector companies including Qlik, J&J, GE, Novartis, Merck, Chevron, UPS and many others to partner with agencies like the CDC and WHO to create a cohesive voice in support of strengthening health systems around the globe. The European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC) is also using Qlik to power its COVID-19 site (select “All reported cases” tab).
