The Pre-Sales Organization

The Pre-Sales Organization is a key interface to our customers and prospects, working closely with the sales team and business partners to support the overall sales effort. Pre-sales are instrumental in proving the technical and business value of our solutions, to drive revenue. The teams work mainly geographically, sometimes having an additional industry focus. 

How you will spend your time as our next Partner Enablement Solution Architect Latin America

Reporting to Pre-Sales Management, the focus of this role will be to develop and grow the technical and messaging skills with pre-sales and business analysts within the key focus solution provider, consulting & services partners, and eventually MSP partners (all from now on referred to as Qlik Partners) of the select and elite level within the region. In this role, you will need to work with key stakeholders to understand and grow the enablement level of the Qlik partners and make sure the key Qlik partners are supported in building their business with Qlik. Training will be provided on the Qlik products. The role will be based in Sao Paulo covering all Latin America region to support Qlik Partners and occasionally client meetings will be expected.

The role will be a cover a wide base of technical, and relationship duties. These will include the following tasks

  • Support recruitment and onboarding planning of new partners
  • Promote the value of the Qlik platform across the partner community
  • Build and maintain relationships with technical contacts at key Qlik partners
  • Executing enablement plans for Qlik partners
  • Liaising between Qlik partner pre-sales and Qlik
  • Develop, maintain and extend pre-sales collateral for the global partner enablement framework
  • Co-design GTM solutions with partners

You will be successful if you

  • Can lead, develop, and motivate a team and are willing to actively contribute to Presales strategy and direction
  • Have experience working proactively with the partner managers (SP, Consulting & Services and MSP) team to segment the partners in terms of enablement priority
  • Can support Qlik partners and work with them to qualify the level of enablement
  • Work with Qlik partners to understand their key go to market drivers and focus.
  • Are able to create and execute an enablement plan which aligns Qlik with the Qlik partner Go To Market
  • Are able to engage with Qlik partners around tactical enablement opportunities, these could include
  • Working with Qlik Education Services to help position and deliver formal classroom training
  • Identifying and helping increase uptake on the partner portal across the Qlik
  • Leverage other business functions such as Product Management, Support, Pre-Sales and Consulting to ensure the focus Qlik partners are supported
  • Deliver tailored workshops on specific focus activities
  • Are capable and fluent in topics including UI Design, Data Modelling and Enterprise Architecture and can leverage other Qlik resources (including Pre-Sales) to support more complex discussions
  • Understand and be able to deliver product positioning and keep up to date on the competitive landscape and be able to discuss / debate the relative merits and debits of competitors, partners and alternate technologies in a wider solution context
  • Work with the Global Partner Pre-Sales Enablement team to create, maintain and deliver a library of Enablement Assets
  • Actively contribute to the overall Pre-Sales organization and wider Enablement community with insight and learning
  • Work with Qlik Marketing in supporting partner marketing activities both hosted by Qlik and Qlik partners where applicable
  • Work with key stakeholders to analyze the maturity of the Qlik partner community using available systems

You will thrive if you are

  • Excellent written and oral communications skills in local language (Portuguese-BR and Spanish) and English with the ability to communicate to Director / C-Level
  • Excellent organization skills and time management with the ability to prioritize based on objectives
  • Proven ability to learn new skills
  • Previous exposure to the BI / Analytics space required with experience of QlikView / Qlik Sense a benefit
  • Be a self-starter who is able to define success, targets and goals
  • Hands on enthusiastic approach with the ability to work as a wider team
  • Demonstrate ability to leverage other functions within the wider business including Pre-Sales, Product Management, Consulting and Support
