A highlight that stood out in our teams’ eyes were the sessions on “Getting the Most Out of Your Data,” a great session on real-time analytics using Databricks and Spark on the Azure platform. We see a lot of organisations looking at the use cases to leverage this architecture, but they miss the critical piece on how they can deliver near real-time data to the platform from applications such SAP, mainframes and other relational systems.
Also key was Attunity’s country manager for DACH, Bojan Petrovic who presented Attunity’s solution for consumable data in the data lake. A challenge many organisations have walked away from is now a fully automated process, enabling an organisation’s data lake to be minutes behind their operational systems with the freedom of data exploration and data usage that modern data lake environments provide.
We showcased how Attunity delivers consumable data on the Azure platform (SQL Data Warehouse, ADLS, Event Hubs, HD Insight, etc.) With over 3,000 attendees, it was a very busy two days in the hub, in our theatre session and on our stand. The condensed, regional version of Microsoft’s annual tech conference allowed attendees to connect with the larger Microsoft community and strategic partners to gain practical insights and best practices on the future of cloud development, data, IT, and business intelligence.
It was great to see so many of our customers, partners and friends in Berlin. Thank you for coming to our theatre session on the first and second day. Thank you for coming to the booth where we gave away over 15 drones in our as ever popular stand competition. And thank you for giving us great feedback on how we are helping companies like you succeed in the data integration market.
We’re really excited to meet customers, partners and friends at upcoming 2019 Ignite tour stops. Please join Attunity on the show floor as we explore how enterprises make the most of their data in these cities:
- Washington DC – February 4-5, 2019
- London, February 26-27, 2019
- Amsterdam, March 20-21, 2019
- Stockholm, April 24-25, 2019
