Qlik Consulting Services is dedicated to the success of our customers and partners. The Consulting Services team ensures that Qlik customers and partners are successfully implementing innovative and effective QlikView and Qlik Sense solutions to meet their business goals.

In this role you will be responsible for building and facilitating the infrastructure and methodology to transform customer solution engagements to long term engagements/relationships enhancing the value obtained from our products and solution services teams. You will lead the design, and implementation phase of high-quality solutions based on QlikView and Qlik Sense. You will be the lead on one or more Consulting Services engagements or projects, which could include other consultants from Qliktech, our customers and/or from our partners.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS

  • Onsite at customers design, develop and implement innovative solutions to customer requirements using our Qlik products, with assistance from our internal technical functions.
  • Provide technical leadership in Consulting services consulting engagements, which will include project work at customer sites
  • Mentor other technical consulting staff
  • Lead a on account and/or project base Local and Global Consulting Team members to create and facilitate an enterprise oversight and governance services delivery model to expand both our technical and business value proposition and scope in our clients.
  • Facilitate current Services Sales opportunities with regard to selling an integrated oversight and governance delivery model
  • Provide Business Leadership for all large customer solution development engagements to ensure Qlik products are optimally leveraged to deliver successful solutions
  • Oversee and advise on how to manage and design development projects from inception to delivery to adhere to Qlik best practices resulting in increased adoption and success
  • Champion tools and methods that result in reducing risk while also assuring high quality delivery
  • Support the Services Sales Manager with Account Planning for key accounts as part of the Business Development Planning.

  • Transforming Traditional services sales and delivery model of delivering single hands-on technical resources to sell and delivery of Qlik led projects. (shifting the balance)

COMPETENCIES & SKILLS

  • B.S. in Business, Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS or equivalent work experience.
  • 10-15 years of experience managing external clients in positions of increasing responsibility in the delivery of business intelligence, systems development, and systems Integration.
  • Professional Services experience within a technology company or systems integrator with commitment to customer success
  • Solution development and delivery leadership experience gained in top-tier consulting organizations.
  • Excellent business acumen - Able to quickly understand the businesses objectives, take ownership and develop and execute a strategy with the team that positively transforms the business.
  • Strong client-facing consultative skills, able to act as a customer advocate.
  • Strong relationship building skills both internally and externally.
  • Ability to organize and lead client sessions that involve non-technical resources, creating requirements and solution design.
  • High level of integrity and ethical approach, able to instill trust and a transparent way of doing business
  • Ability to generate client signoff and commitment to the overall solution, architecture and design.
  • Experience with Relational Database systems and data modeling.
  • Deep knowledge of design and deployment methodology within the Qlik platform.
  • Knowledge of enterprise systems, CRM, SFA, and ERP (e.g. Salesforce.com, Oracle, SAP R/3).
  • Demonstrated experience deploying enterprise business analytics solutions.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • An outgoing, focused and organized individual, with a strong drive to succeed.
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills, able to succeed in a high pressure environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor equivalent mandatory
  • Master equivalent preferable
  • MBA advantageous
Languages
  • Business level French mandatory
  • Business level English mandatory
  • Other relevant languages would be an advantage
Experience
  • Extraordinary client-facing skills with the ability to understand the clients’ needs and impact client success in a positive way.
  • Strong knowledge of business processes (Sales, Marketing, Service, Support)
  • 10 years plus in customer service role – consulting, project management or account management.
  • Strong technology background
  • Business Intelligence Industry background advantageous
  • Experience in driving business solution strategy and execution on customer engagements
  • Expertise and experience dealing with large, multi-national accounts at the most senior IT and business levels
  • Proven effectiveness at leading and facilitating executive meetings and workshops
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and perform effectively under pressure
