Thoma Bravo Completes Acquisition of Qlik

To Qlik global customers and partners:

On August 22, 2016 the previously announced acquisition of Qlik by private equity partner Thoma Bravo became official, completing our transition to a private company. We can assure you that Qlik is still the innovative, customer-focused, partner-friendly company you’ve known for years and we know that our future success depends on maintaining what is special about our brand, our culture, and our business.

We are encouraged that we managed through the process so effectively together. The power of Qlik to unlock data-driven possibilities in organizations around the world prevailed in Q2 – the last quarter we reported as a public company – which was a strong one thanks to your support.

Our top priority is to keep our technological advantage while enhancing and expanding our platform-based approach to business intelligence and analytics. We are fortunate to have made investments over the past several years in our modern, open Qlik Sense® visual analytics platform which also supports cloud-based solutions, and continues to deliver increasing value to our customers. Our new partner, Thoma Bravo, fully supports our commitment to our product roadmap and continuing investments in innovation.

It’s critical to us that you continue to have a great experience with Qlik. We know that you – and the people you serve – are counting on it.

Regards,

Lars Björk
