Chief Executive Officer
Lars Björk leads Qlik as CEO and is a member of the company’s Board of Directors. He oversaw the company’s initial public offering (IPO) in 2010 on the NASDAQ, which was recognised as one of the year’s top tech IPOs.
Lars is recognised as an authority on driving company culture through an accessible management style, with articles appearing in the New York Times, Forbes and Harvard Business Review, as well as speaking engagements at conferences including the CEO2CEO Leadership Summit. He was named the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year in the technology category and was named Technology CEO of the Year at the 2015 PACT Annual Enterprise Awards. More recently, he was nominated to participate in Startup America, a White House initiative to accelerate high-growth entrepreneurship, and the Clinton Global Initiative, an organisation that brings together leaders to drive action on global challenges.
Before Qlik, Lars held several positions as CFO at companies such as ScandStick and Resurs Finance. He has an MBA from the University of Lund, Sweden and a Degree in Engineering from the Technical College in Helsingborg.
Chief People Officer
Diane leads the global human resources organisation at Qlik. She and her team are responsible for creating and implementing HR strategies to scale with rapid growth, which include recruitment, total rewards, talent and executive development, and HR systems and operations.
Diane is experienced in Fortune 500 and entrepreneurial environments, and is known for building values-based, high-performance cultures while helping others to reach their potential.
She recently authored the book “It Takes More Than Casual Fridays and Free Coffee: Building a Business Culture That Works for Everyone,” which explains how to lay the foundation for a culture that thrives and gives your company the edge it needs to compete in today’s complex economy.
Prior to Qlik, Diane was Executive Vice-President, Culture and Talent with Allscripts, where her team was instrumental in growing the company from $500M to $1.44B. Diane also served in the dual role of Vice-President, Human Resources, International; and Vice-President, Human Resources, Worldwide Sales at Cisco, growing it from 4,500 people to 70,000 people in 152 countries.
Diane holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from UNC Chapel Hill. She is passionate about giving back and serves on several boards, including the International Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) Board, where she is a recipient of the “Living and Giving” Award.
Chief Technology Officer
Senior Vice-President, Products
Anthony serves as Chief Technology Officer and Senior Vice-President, Products. He is responsible for guiding product strategy and leading all aspects of the company’s R&D efforts.
Since joining Qlik in 2005, Anthony has played a critical role in evolving and driving the product evolution to maximise the potential of visual analytics.
Previously, Anthony was the General Manager of Siebel System’s Employee Relationship Management (ERM) business unit. Anthony helped found the ERM business at Siebel, seeing it grow to more than 300 customers and $20 million a year in licence revenue. It was widely recognised as Siebel’s fastest-growing product line and named Product Line of the Year.
Prior to joining Siebel, Anthony worked as a management consultant at A.T. Kearney in Chicago.
Anthony holds a B.A. in Economics from Northwestern University and an M.B.A. with high distinction from Harvard Business School.
Chief Marketing Officer
Rick leads global marketing strategy and execution as Qlik continues to build upon its leadership position in the growing visual analytics market. A technologist at heart, he has more than 25 years of experience marketing software and services to businesses and consumers in the technology industry.
Rick joins Qlik from Rackspace where he was CMO and a member of the company’s senior leadership team. Prior to Rackspace, he served as CMO at VMware, where he was responsible for leading the company’s global marketing strategy since early 2009. In addition, Rick has led marketing organisations at Borland Software, BEA Systems and NetGravity, among others. He brings a valuable combination of SMB and enterprise marketing skills to Qlik, including his extensive knowledge of cloud computing, infrastructure software, application middleware and developer frameworks.
Rick holds a B.S. degree in Computer Science from California State University, Northridge.
Vice-President and General Counsel and Secretary
Debbie is responsible for providing legal support on operational issues, as well as developing and implementing business processes to achieve business goals and mitigate risk. She also supports SEC reporting and corporate governance compliance programmes, joint venture and merger and acquisition transactions, intellectual property activities, and also manages internal and external legal resources.
Debbie joins Qlik from McCausland Keen & Buckman, where she provided legal services to public and private clients in the areas of securities, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, business counselling and general corporate law. Prior to McCausland Keen & Buckman, Debbie was the SVP, General Counsel and Secretary for InfraSource Services, Inc., where she was responsible for corporate governance and compliance, SEC reporting, litigation management, acquisitions and divestitures, labour and employment, and general commercial. She has also served as SVP and General Counsel for SunGard Availability Services, EVP and General Counsel of RMH Teleservices Inc., and VP-Legal and Assistant General Counsel for SunGard Data Systems.
Debbie holds a J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law and a B.A. from the University of Virginia.
Chief Financial Officer
Tim serves as Chief Financial Officer and is responsible for all finance, treasury, investor relations, tax, audit and information technology aspects of the company’s business.
Tim’s background includes both chief financial officer and chief operating officer positions at industry-leading companies. Most recently, he served as Chief Operating Officer, Global Vendor Finance, for De Lage Landen International B.V. Tim also served as Corporate Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer at Crane Co., and held various positions at Xerox Corporation including Corporate Vice-President and Vice-President, Finance, Xerox North America; and Chief Financial Officer, Xerox Europe.
Tim holds an MBA in Finance and a B.S. in Accounting and Law from Clarkson University. He is a graduate of the INSEAD International Executive Programme and is a Lean Six Sigma Certified Green Belt.
Senior Vice-President, Global Engineering
Mike leads the global research and development team as Qlik continues to cement its technological leadership in visual analytics. Mike has nearly 20 years of software product development experience, including extensive management of large global engineering teams.
Mike worked at Cognos for 13 years, and was one of the originators of Cognos Business Intelligence products. After IBM’s acquisition of Cognos, he spent six years with the company leading global development organisations for Financial Performance Management and BI across the various Cognos product lines. Most recently, Mike was Senior Vice-President of Engineering at CA Technologies, where he led the global development organisation across multiple product lines.
Mike was an IBM Distinguished Engineer and is an accomplished inventor with multiple patents and expertise in financial analytics, financial performance management, data and business modelling, master data management, OLAP, SQL and data access. He holds both a Bachelor of Computer Science degree and Master of Computer Science degree from the University of Ottawa.
Executive Vice-President, Worldwide Sales and Services
Mark is Executive Vice-President, Worldwide Sales and Services responsible for global sales, both direct and through Qlik’s expansive partner network, including alliances with system integrators and technology partners. He also leads consulting services, training and education, and technical support organisations to ensure customer success. Mark is a global tech industry veteran bringing a track record of rapid revenue growth and expansion to Qlik.
Prior to joining Qlik, Mark served as Senior Vice-President, Global Sales of VCE, an EMC Company focused on accelerating adoption of converged infrastructure and cloud-based computing. Mark has experience in go to market execution for all channels in high growth markets. He previously held positions as SVP Worldwide Sales, RSA, the security division of EMC, and other global sales leadership positions within EMC. Prior to that, he was VP of Sales at PTC helping drive the company’s revenue from $300 million to $1 billion dollars.
He holds a bachelor degree in psychology from Hofstra University.
