Lars Björk

Chief Executive Officer

Lars Björk leads Qlik as CEO and is a member of the company’s Board of Directors. He oversaw the company’s initial public offering (IPO) in 2010 on the NASDAQ, which was recognised as one of the year’s top tech IPOs.

Lars is recognised as an authority on driving company culture through an accessible management style, with articles appearing in the New York Times, Forbes and Harvard Business Review, as well as speaking engagements at conferences including the CEO2CEO Leadership Summit. He was named the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year in the technology category and was named Technology CEO of the Year at the 2015 PACT Annual Enterprise Awards.

Before Qlik, Lars held several positions as CFO at companies such as ScandStick and Resurs Finance. He has an MBA from the University of Lund, Sweden and a Degree in Engineering from the Technical College in Helsingborg.

Anthony Deighton

Chief Technology Officer
Senior Vice-President, Products

Anthony serves as Chief Technology Officer and Senior Vice-President, Products. He is responsible for guiding product strategy and leading all aspects of the company’s R&D efforts.

Since joining Qlik in 2005, Anthony has played a critical role in evolving and driving the product evolution to maximise the potential of visual analytics.

Previously, Anthony was the General Manager of Siebel System’s Employee Relationship Management (ERM) business unit. Anthony helped found the ERM business at Siebel, seeing it grow to more than 300 customers and $20 million a year in licence revenue. It was widely recognised as Siebel’s fastest-growing product line and named Product Line of the Year.

Prior to joining Siebel, Anthony worked as a management consultant at A.T. Kearney in Chicago.

Anthony holds a B.A. in Economics from Northwestern University and an M.B.A. with high distinction from Harvard Business School.

Rick Jackson

Chief Marketing Officer

Rick leads global marketing strategy and execution as Qlik continues to build upon its leadership position in the growing visual analytics market. A technologist at heart, he has more than 25 years of experience marketing software and services to businesses and consumers in the technology industry.

Rick joins Qlik from Rackspace where he was CMO and a member of the company’s senior leadership team. Prior to Rackspace, he served as CMO at VMware, where he was responsible for leading the company’s global marketing strategy since early 2009. In addition, Rick has led marketing organisations at Borland Software, BEA Systems and NetGravity, among others. He brings a valuable combination of SMB and enterprise marketing skills to Qlik, including his extensive knowledge of cloud computing, infrastructure software, application middleware and developer frameworks.

Rick holds a B.S. degree in Computer Science from California State University, Northridge.

Debbie Lofton

Vice-President and General Counsel and Secretary

Debbie is responsible for providing legal support on operational issues, as well as developing and implementing business processes to achieve business goals and mitigate risk. She also supports SEC reporting and corporate governance compliance programmes, joint venture and merger and acquisition transactions, intellectual property activities, and also manages internal and external legal resources.

Debbie joins Qlik from McCausland Keen & Buckman, where she provided legal services to public and private clients in the areas of securities, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, business counselling and general corporate law. Prior to McCausland Keen & Buckman, Debbie was the SVP, General Counsel and Secretary for InfraSource Services, Inc., where she was responsible for corporate governance and compliance, SEC reporting, litigation management, acquisitions and divestitures, labour and employment, and general commercial. She has also served as SVP and General Counsel for SunGard Availability Services, EVP and General Counsel of RMH Teleservices Inc., and VP-Legal and Assistant General Counsel for SunGard Data Systems.

Debbie holds a J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law and a B.A. from the University of Virginia. 

Tim MacCarrick

Chief Financial Officer

Tim serves as Chief Financial Officer and is responsible for all finance, treasury, investor relations, tax, audit and information technology aspects of the company’s business.

Tim’s background includes both chief financial officer and chief operating officer positions at industry-leading companies. Most recently, he served as Chief Operating Officer, Global Vendor Finance, for De Lage Landen International B.V. Tim also served as Corporate Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer at Crane Co., and held various positions at Xerox Corporation including Corporate Vice-President and Vice-President, Finance, Xerox North America; and Chief Financial Officer, Xerox Europe.

Tim holds an MBA in Finance and a B.S. in Accounting and Law from Clarkson University. He is a graduate of the INSEAD International Executive Programme and is a Lean Six Sigma Certified Green Belt.

Mike Potter

Mike Potter

Senior Vice-President, Global Research and Development

Mike leads the global research and development team as Qlik continues to cement its technological leadership in visual analytics. Mike has nearly 20 years of software product development experience, including extensive management of large global engineering teams.

Mike worked at Cognos for 13 years, and was one of the originators of Cognos Business Intelligence products. After IBM’s acquisition of Cognos, he spent six years with the company leading global development organisations for Financial Performance Management and BI across the various Cognos product lines. Most recently, Mike was Senior Vice-President of Engineering at CA Technologies, where he led the global development organisation across multiple product lines.

Mike was an IBM Distinguished Engineer and is an accomplished inventor with multiple patents and expertise in financial analytics, financial performance management, data and business modelling, master data management, OLAP, SQL and data access. He holds both a Bachelor of Computer Science degree and Master of Computer Science degree from the University of Ottawa.

Richard Timperlake

Executive Vice President, Worldwide Sales, Qlik

Richard is Executive Vice President, Worldwide Sales responsible for global sales, both direct and through Qlik’s expansive partner network, including alliances with system integrators and technology partners.

Richard has over 25 years of experience in the IT industry, with proven success in driving high-growth businesses. Richard joined Qlik in 2009 as Vice President and General Manager, Europe, responsible for 60% of the company’s revenue, where he and the team operated in 25 countries and worked with over 400 partners. He was promoted to Senior Vice President, Worldwide Sales in January 2011.

Prior to joining Qlik, Richard worked with SAS Institute where he was responsible for the major reorganization of their sales management teams resulting in a 25% growth in UK revenue over three years. Before this, Richard was one of the early members of Siebel Systems where, over 5 years, he became Sales Director for Telecommunications and later Financial Services growing the business by over 100%. He has also worked with several venture capital companies on various investments.

Richard graduated from Bristol Business School, and joined Hewlett Packard as a graduate trainee and progressed through the organization for nine years, where he was involved in several Sales and Marketing roles.

Deborah D. Snow

Chief People Officer, Culture & Talent

As Chief People Officer of Culture and Talent, Deborah plays a vital role in aligning future-focused global HR strategies and operations with the company’s corporate vision, strategy and goals (VSGs). To ensure Qlik attracts, develops and retains the best talent, she partners with the business to create programs and opportunities where each Qlikkie, inspired around a common set of values, can realize and exceed their potential.

Deborah brings a wealth of human resources management expertise to Qlik and a deep understanding of organizational culture and transformational leadership. Prior to assuming her current role, she joined the company in 2014 as Vice President of Recruitment. Subsequently, she led the Business Partner team in tandem with the Global Recruitment function.

Before joining Qlik, Deborah served as Chief People Officer at Allscripts Healthcare Solutions—a leader in electronic health record (EHR) technology, financial management and population health administration solutions. Earlier in her career, she worked at Cisco Systems, the largest networking and communications technology company in the world. Under her leadership, she successfully ran an early-in-career sales training program. Between 1997 and 2007, Deborah was Senior Vice President of Business Transformation eCommerce for Bank of America. In that role, she was responsible for leading portfolios of technology change in the Consumer, Small Business, Corporate and Commercial Banks.
